Breast Augmentation surgery for fuller and bigger breasts

“My aim is to create an amazing result for you with the best possible recovery”

Dr Bernard Beldholm

As seen on TV!

  • I use the 24 hour recovery technique that Dr Tebbetts described, making it possible for 96% of my patients to go back to normal activities within 24 hours (See peer review journal article 10 & 11 below).
  • Full exercise at 4 weeks onwards.
  • I use polyurethane breast implants that are proven to reduce the chance of rotation as well as capsular contracture. Rotation and capsular contracture are the two most common complications that will require further surgery to correct. Polyurethane breast implants also make it possible to use tear drop implants to achieve a natural result, with minimal risk of rotation. (See peer review journal articles 4,6,7 & 8).
  • If you have a desk type job, then you should be able to get back to work in around 3-7 days.
  • Day stay surgery.
  • No drains.
  • No need for massage or strapping after. You will have a soft support bra and that is it. You can walk around normally and do most gentle things at home from day one.
  • Post operatively, as part of my tailored breast augmentation package, I have included Healite II LED Light Therapy. This is effective in minimising bruising and swelling.(see peer review journal articles 1 & 2).
  • You will be provided with a 24/7 mobile number so that you can reach me any time of day in case you are worried about your post operative progress.
  • I will personally see you several times after your surgery to make sure that you are progressing well.

I use Crisalix 3D imaging to help you decide on your breast implant size. One of the features that my patients have really liked with this program, is the ability to see their 3D images at home on their own computer. We are also able to remotely upload different implants if you decide that you wanted to view more sizes or shapes at home.

Why does Dr Beldholm use polyurethane breast implants?

…Because extensive research shows that they are the best implants to use.

Quote from one article: referring to polyurethane breast implants

“…During the span of this author’s practice, he has never been able to match the number and quality of superior results exemplified by these patients when using other devices…”

Hester T.R., Tebbbets, J. Maxwell, G.P. “The polyurethane-covered mammary prosthesis: Facts and fiction (II).“ Clinics in Plastic Surgery Vol.28 2001

In another article the authors recommended that all surgeons should consider using polyurethane breast implants for all breast augmentations.

Breast Augmentation post pregnancy to regain fullness in your breasts

I see many women post pregnancy who have lost volume in their breasts. Many of these women simply wish to have their breasts look the way they did pre pregnancy. Breast augmentation can make your breasts fuller and perkier, and can restore lost volume after pregnancy. Over the last ten years I have been refining my surgical techniques and keeping abreast of technological advances in the field of breast augmentation. Other than fulfilling my endless desire to learn and my continuous drive for excellence in my chosen field, it allows me to provide you with the best possible results.

Breast Augmentation before children for bigger breasts

I see many young women looking to enhance their breasts. Many have A to B cup breasts and want to have a fuller more proportioned breasts with a better cleavage.

Breast augmentation is one of the most commonly performed cosmetic surgery procedures. Breast augmentation can achieve a full breasted look for women with smaller breasts. Those that have lost volume during pregnancy or weight loss, or woman who are born with uneven breast size or shape. Using our 3D computer simulation (this allows you to see what you could look like after breast augmentation) in conjunction with a comprehensive consultation you will be able to choose a breast implant to compliment your body and your lifestyle.

My approach is a very personal one. I spend time during your consultation getting to know you, and finding out what you desire from the procedure. All of your consultations to decide on sizing, shape and discussions regarding the operation are with me. I personally perform your 3D imaging. This way we can decide together on the best size and style of implants, and what the final result should be, taking into account your body shape, lifestyle, and desired result. You will also have the opportunity to try on implant sizers during the consultation. I find this invaluable in helping my patients visualise and feel the selected implant on their body.

I run a boutique practice. All of my staff are friendly, approachable and highly dedicated to helping you through your surgical journey. Angela is my patient coordinator. Angela has been with me for close to six years now. Her warm, compassionate and calm nature puts my patients at ease. She will help you with the booking of operation dates, and all of the associated paperwork to make your booking process as smooth and stress free as possible. Belinda, Kieran and Kelly are my receptionists. They have also been with me for many years and are able to answer many of your questions regarding breast augmentation surgery. Lea is my dermal therapist and will help take care of you after your surgery.
